An event where creators only see the last sentence of the fic, and continue on!

How It Works

First, creators will be sorted into groups of 3-6. They will be grouped based on preferences, such as ships or genre. From there, we ask they write a minimum of three sentences.

After a week, the next creator will be given the last sentence from the previous creator, and they are tasked to continue the fic, writing at least three more sentences. This will repeat until every creator in a group has worked on every fic.

Once all fics are complete, mods will compile all portions into a google doc and release it online.

Guidelines

Works must remain within the General to Teen+ category. While we will ask everyone if they have any triggers/squicks (if they are comfortable sharing), and will scan sentences for such, we cannot handle grouping people with the additional factor of Mature/Adult content.

Creators must be able to write for 3-6 weeks. While we realize there can be sudden life events or disruptions, creators may be removed from the event if they consistently do not respond to check-ins.

Interest check: December 21, 2024 - January 20, 2025
Sign ups: January 20, 2024 - March 1, 2025
Creation: March 15, 2025 - TBD

Additional notes

Since I’ve never seen any events like this before, this is the test round. Hopefully rules and such will become more concrete as time goes on, so this is a tentative outline.
Furthermore, we are still working on how to incorporate artists. Hopefully we will have a method in future events, but we would like to test it with only writers first.
